A-Grade follows recovering-perfectionist Alyssa Piere, a college-sophomore at an elite university, who amidst the exciting chaos of college life—full of 1am studies, semi-illegal substances, and university scandal— begins to question her purpose in life as the shifting world her around forces her to confront hard truths about her mental health, personal life, and secrets she’d rather keep hidden.
Based on West African and Caribbean folktales, Izara follows the titular Izara, a witty and headstrong warrior-princess who wants nothing more than to see the success of her kingdom. But when offered a fantastical opportunity by the notorious trickster God, Anansi, Izara takes a gamble that unravels the delicate fabrics of her world. To restore balance to her kingdom, Izara must successfully journey through the worlds of the folktales of her people and learn their morals. If not, her kingdom will crumble and Izara will find herself erased from history & memory.
